# Attribute revenue with Polar Checkout Links

> Make sure you've [connected your Polar account](/docs/connect-payment-provider) first.

In your [Polar Dashboard](https://polar.sh/dashboard), go to Products > Checkout Links and create a new Checkout Link.

For "Success URL", choose to redirect customers to your website and add `?checkout_id={CHECKOUT_ID}` to the URL.

DataFast will automatically look for the `checkout_id` in the URL and track the payment.

## Important notes

- Duplicate payment events are ignored so you don't need to worry about multiple redirects
- Works best when customers complete the purchase journey on the same device/browser

> After receiving a successful payment, you should see revenue data in your dashboard (referrer, country, browser, etc.).
